Ingredients
2 c of cooked rice
3 sheets of dried seaweed (nori)
1 can of Spam
1-3 tbsp of teriyaki sauce
Small bowl or cup of water
Kimo’s ONO Grindz Chili Pepper Water
Preparation
Cut the spam with a meat slicer or knife. If using a knife cut ¼-inch thick slices.
Marinate the spam in the sauce for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Fry spam in a pan on each side for 2-4 minutes.
Using a mold or the spam can as a mold, scoop rice into the mold and press down until approximately 2 inches thick.
Place a slice of spam on top of the rice mold.
Use a little water to wet the edges of the seaweed strip and fold it over top. Turn upside down to seal the seaweed.
Wrap in plastic wrap and serve immediately or within 3 days.
You can add a little of my chili pepper water to some soy sauce for a nice little dipping sauce!
