2 c of all-purpose flour
1 c of cornmeal
2/3 c of sugar
1tsp of salt
2 tbsp of baking powder
4 c of milk
1 stick of melted butter
1 small can of green chilis (optional)
1 can cream corn
Kimo’s ONO Grindz Chili Pepper Water
In a very large bowl, mix all the ingredients. It will look lumpy due to corn, but make sure the dry ingredients are lumped in.
Add half a bottle of Kimo’s ONO Grindz Chili Pepper Water plus all the chopped ingredients in the bottle. We suggest our jalapeno flavor or use our habanero flavor for a kicked-up cornbread.
Pour mixture into a greased pan (pie pan, silicone baking dish, whatever you have available).
Put in a preheated oven of 400 for 20 to 30 minutes.
Check to see if it’s done by inserting a toothpick and if it comes out clean it’s done. If it comes out with batter on it, put it back in.
