Ingredients
1 package of ground beef (or your ground meat of choice)
1 onion diced
1 bell pepper diced
1 package of mushrooms sliced
2 tbsp of butter
1 tbsp of cornstarch
1 tbsp of water
1 can of beef broth
1 tbsp of ketchup
1 tbsp of Worcester sauce
1 8oz package of shredded mozzarella cheese or sliced provolone
Salt and pepper to taste
Kimo’s ONO Grindz Chili Pepper Water
Preparation
Brown the ground meat until cooked through.
Remove meat and in the same pan/skillet add butter.
Add bell pepper and cook on medium heat for about a minute or 2 then add onion and cook another 2 minutes.
Add mushrooms then salt and pepper.
Cook for 3-4 minutes.
Add ground meat back to skillet/pan and mix to incorporate.
Add beef broth. Pour in ketchup and Worcester sauce over the meat mixture and mix to incorporate.
Make a pocket in the middle of the pan/skillet. Mix cornstarch and water then add to the pocket in pan/skillet. Mix to incorporate.
Cook until sauce thickens (about 3 to 5 minutes).
Add shredded cheese to the mixture until the cheese melts.
Spoon the meat mixture onto a hamburger bun. Add provolone cheese if preferred.
